Some service reminders apply only to individual subscription accounts. If your service is provided through your borough, township, or private development your rules and regulations will differ. Please refer to your governing body for those details.
- All trash should be to the curb by 6:00 am on your scheduled collection day.
- If you have additional bags you must call the office prior to close at least one day prior to your collection day. Extra bags are billed at $3.00 per 32 gal bag.
- If you use a container or tote larger than 32 gallons, your trash must be bagged then placed in your container or tote.
- Your individual bag is not to exceed 50 lbs. Overweight bags/cans will be tagged and it will be the customer’s responsibility to remove and bag the excess trash for pick up the following week.
- Brush must be bundled, bagged, or boxed. The brush length is not to exceed four (4') feet in length and two (2') feet in diameter.
- Small bulk items will be counted as one (1) bag.
- The use of 55 gallon drums or barrels are a safety hazard for our loaders. There are no safe lifting aids, such as handles, for the loaders to grip. Please refrain from using them. We reserve the right to not collect drums or barrels over 32 gallons without handles and/or that do not contain bagged trash.
- Please do not pack your trash receptacle. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure garbage falls freely out of it. If trash is packed and cannot be readily emptied the left over trash will remain in the receptacle and it will be the customer’s responsibility to loosen the trash.
- Please use common sense in leaving items near your trash cans on collection day. Our crews are trained to do a thorough job. Anything left near the trash cans looks like trash to them. Please refrain from using special carts, wagons, wheel barrels, etc. as trash receptacles. Our loaders have no way of knowing it is not meant to be thrown out with your trash.
- It is imperative to keep a current telephone number on file. Any unforeseen changes in the collection schedule are communicated by telephone notification.
- If you have a questionable item please call the office before your scheduled collection day.
- Dirt, rocks, concrete, bricks, plaster, drywall, hot ashes, and hazardous waste are prohibited.
- Motor Oil - This can be recycled at our facility please see our DISPOSAL QUESTIONS page.
- Electronics are prohibited. State law mandates that all electronics must be taken to a designated recycling center.
- Moving – it is your responsibility to stop or transfer service. You are responsible for service until you notify us.
